fish-n-tasty

Pepes ikan is always tasty. The fish is wrapped in banana leaves (here in Europe, fall back to aluminium foil) and then steamed for some time (see the complete recipe). It is not difficult to prepare, and any fresh fish will do just fine. Delicious!

  3. Matt: just like typical dishes from my country, the look can be deceiving! BTW, more fish (and hopefully with better look) to come.

  4. Ikan pepes... Looks like I'm not the only one that craves for ikan pepes. It's in the spices, I think, that makes seafood more delictable. I hope you can introduce more good seafood for us to savour.
