Gmail video chat

It does not work on Linux (yet), but this video and voice chat right inside Google Mail will be definitely a killer!

no , i like it, but wanted to test it out, and got "not available for linux yet" - so i skipped this product

I can't try it here on Linux, and no Windows box anywhere close so I'll ask you guys: How does it work? there is no javascript I know about that could pull that off. ActiveX? Java Applets? What is this?

@agony: flash. Although it seems to install something more but I don't know what exactly. Works okay.

they use open standards and it is already available for mac.

and linux is in their plans as well.

Waiting desperately for the Linux versions. I sometimes feel, a company which has its most of the infrastructure running on FOSS, creates too less stuff for Linux
