Qt, the application framework from Qt Software is written as Qt (capital Q). It is not written as QT (capital Q, capital T). QT can refer to a lot of other things, e.g. Apple QuickTime.
The official pronunciation of Qt is "cute". It is not pronounced as "cue tea".

Pronouncing as "cute" is hard to do when you learned it as "cue tea" and used it like that in the past 8 years. Yeah, I know "cute" wasn't invented today, still ... hard to switch.

Maybe in english that is, in Swedish I have always prononouced the letters by themselves (and I'm not trying to write how that sounds in swedish;-).
There was some comments (and bashing) on the dot about this a while ago.
don`t try to make them speak as cute.
in brazil, everybody speaks the sound of the letter. it`s easyer, it`s faster, and it`s what people that never heard of `cute` will do.
if they want Qt to be named `cute`, it`s better to change the name of the software to `ct`.
As a commercial Qt developer, it is practically suicide saying you program in cute. That simply doesn't fly with management, therefore most developers revert to saying Q T. (in the US at least)

With out the pronunciation "cute", you don't get clever names like the "Cute(/Qt) Assistant". Who wouldn't want a cute assistant?
I always say Q-t. 'Cute' makes me cringe and is hard to take seriously.
But it's so cute!
